Knovis Documentation
Everything you need to get the most out of Knovis, from placing your first item to building a fully navigable spatial presentation.
Where to start
New to Knovis? Start with Installation & First Launch, then work through the core concepts in order. The whole path takes about 20 minutes to read and gives you a working mental model before you dive in.
Already up and running? Jump straight to Waypoints and Routes, where Knovis gets interesting.
How Knovis thinks
Everything in Knovis is built around three ideas:
- Items are the building blocks: reusable, searchable, and rich with metadata. A file, a link, a video, a note. Items exist independently of where you put them.
- Environments are spatial canvases where you arrange items. One item can live in multiple environments. Moving it in one place doesn't affect the others.
- Waypoints are saved views of the canvas, capturing a specific zoom level and position. String them together and you have a spatial presentation that no slide deck can replicate.
