Knovis LLC operates the Knovis knowledge management application. This page explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information, and the choices you have regarding that information.
Definitions
- Service: the Knovis knowledge management application operated by Knovis LLC
- Personal Data: information that identifies a living individual
- Usage Data: data collected automatically from your use of the Service
- Cookies: small files stored on your device
- Data Controller: Knovis LLC, which determines the purposes and means of processing Personal Data
- Data Processor / Service Provider: a third party that processes data on our behalf
- Data Subject / User: you, the living individual using the Service
Information We Collect
Personal Data we may collect includes your email address, and cookies and usage data when you interact with our website or application.
Usage Data may include your device type and unique ID, IP address, operating system, browser type, and diagnostic data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors interact with our website. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to arriving. We use this information to improve the site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit, not your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Google's ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits by disabling cookies in your browser.
Tracking & Cookies
We use cookies to operate and improve the Service. You can refuse cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not function as a result. We use three types of cookies:

Do Not Track
Knovis does not respond to Do Not Track signals. You can enable or disable DNT through your browser preferences.
Your Data Protection Rights (EEA Residents)
If you are in the EEA, you have the right to:
- Access, update, or request deletion of your Personal Data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Object to our processing of your data
- Request restriction of processing
- Request a portable copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time
You may also lodge a complaint with your local Data Protection Authority. We may ask you to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service. These providers have access to Personal Data only to perform tasks on our behalf and may not disclose or misuse it.
Payment processing: Knovis does not store payment card details. Payments are handled by third-party processors compliant with PCI-DSS standards. Our primary payment processor is Stripe; see stripe.com/privacy.
Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to external sites. Knovis is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites and encourages you to review their policies.
Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from minors. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will remove it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date, and we will notify you by email where appropriate. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
